I should have taken pics, but I'll say the food was great. The black bean burger is really good. It is seasoned well, moist, and doesn't fall apart. The salted caramel shake is good, the chocolate shake was amazing! The beef burger is also moist and seasoned well. My husband got the sweet potato fries, those were really good too! Enjoy!

My first visit to Smash Burger and I enjoyed it very much. The cashier was helpful and the food was good. I don't eat beef, so I was glad to have non beef and vegetarian options.

Short version: Wife claimed up front she is a celiac, guy behind the counter said no problem. We ordered and ate, and she spent the night in the throes of a gluten reaction.

I used to give a grudging benefit of the doubt to restaurants based on the complexity involved in serving people with allergies, but I stopped. When somebody plainly identifies that they have a food allergy, and your manager/host/minimum-wage-dude-behind-the-counter/agent-of-the-institution says "yes, we can take your money and serve you," you are taking on a responsibility to not make that person sick, no matter how good your burgers may be for the rest of the world. 

They took on that responsibility. They failed.

Food is good but too expensive . Service is hit or miss. I only eat here if I have a coupon.
