We are family dental practice in Oliver Springs, Tennessee who loves to care for generations of other families.

Story

We are a general dentistry practice located the foothills of the Cumberland Plateau, not far from Knoxville. With 3 dentists and 4 hygienists as part of our team, we are ready and able to address your oral health needs. From cleanings to extractions, fillings to implants, whitening to crowns, it is our hope to be able to care for you and your mouth as we would for our own.

Recommended by my daughter's orthodontist, and we are very pleased with Dr. David Smith, the hygienists, and the office staff. Never had to wait to long. Quality care. They make great night guards as well.

Worth the drive from Knoxville. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, lovely facility with modern equipment and top notch dentists. I'd recommend Dr. Daniel and Smith Family Dentistry to anyone. Couldn't ask for better!

This was my second appointment with Smith Family Dentistry. I was told that the procedure would take only a few minutes this time. I sat for 45 minutes alone in the examination/work room, before going out to ask a nurse how much longer it would be before I was seen by the doctor. I was told that there was some difficulty with another patient. Not too long after that, a doctor who had not seen me before came in to do the procedure, which took about half an hour, rather than the "few minutes" I had been anticipating. As a new patient, I am confident that the quality of care I am receiving at this office is very good. I have no complaint against the doctor(s), their treatment of me, or their apparent attitude toward me and/or toward their job. However, I feel that the doctors and the staff could do a better job of informing the patient of what is going on, when there are unforeseen delays or changes in circumstances.
