Beautiful area on the Sandy Beach. $10 adults. Opens in June-Aug. Many shelters to rent. Grills.

Clean campground with good facilities. Mountain bike and hiking trails are great. Noise from the airfield can be high, so be prepared with earplugs if the helicopters are in the air.

Was stationed at fort Bragg on and off for 13 years. This was my first time back in 24 years so much to see !  The camp ground was great very nice people we were parked in 5A and the only thing wrong is the big pine tree that drops needles all over your camper and this could be a problem in the spring when you will get sap dropping down. So if they read this maybe they will take it out. But leave the small oak.

We've had a couple different times that we have stayed here. Each time is Pleasant the grounds are taken care of and worth the expense

Prices are great, and equipment is good. They rent bouncy houses, boats, tents, you name it. They're tucked away before you reach the big Smith Lake park, so look for the white arrow pointing into the forest.
