Story

Smith & Smith, CPA (formerly known as Robert G. (Bob) Smith, CPA) was started in 1995 in the heart of Cary, NC. Over the years our family owned and operated CPA firm has grown to include five family members and a close family friend: Bob, his wife, Sharon, two of their sons, Blake and Cam, Blake's wife, Becca, and family friend, Alicia Angell.
We offer professional business accounting/CPA services to small-medium sizes
businesses and we prepare personal tax returns for individuals/businesses.

We have a strong reputation in the area for providing excellent customer service and are known for having deep roots in community involvement. We take pride in being able to save our clients TIME and MONEY by meeting their business needs and providing them with a strong sense of knowing that their IRS/government obligations are fulfilled in a timely manner. We also help clients search for those tax saving opportunities and assure them that we are on their side when it comes to making strong and SMART business decisions.

I've done my taxes every year online. I'm just one person with a pretty straight forward situation. However, this year I received a document from North Carolina Department of Revenue that I didn't quite understand. So I brought it to Smith & Smith and just 10 mins after looking over it were able to explain the whole situation to me and didn't end up charging me for the time. 
Very friendly, very helpful and very honest people. I would do business with them again. Only 4 starts because my exposure was limited.

First time hiring a CPA for taxes - have always done my own.  Sure wish I’d made the switch sooner!  Tried Smith and Smith based on their excellent reviews and had to add one.  Can’t say enough them - timely, efficient, impressively organized, and incredibly friendly and helpful!!!

Bob Smith and his team have been a wonderful asset to our business. We are small business owners with many questions. We have felt supported throughout the past few years.  We also appreciate the way they make us feel like we are their most important account(even though we are a small company) I Becca through a few ladies networking groups and she is kind of nice to introduce me to others and make me feel comfortable. This firm is great! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They made tax season painless and charged us about a third as much as our previous CPA. Excellent and efficient service -- thank you!
