Welcome to the MOST ETHICAL Plumbing Company in Kansas City and surrounding areas. We started January 1, 1991 with one (1) vehicle and we now have 20 technicians and 10 office personnel. SNAKE'n'ROOTER was awarded "The Most Ethical Small Business in Kansas City 2002" by the Kansas City Business Journal. We provide all aspects of plumbing and drain cleaning with no extra charges for nights, weekends or any holidays. All technicians have short hair, are clean-shaven, in full uniform and are required to be the best technician that has ever served your needs.

Used to replace garbage disposal asked wife if she got quoted of cost on phone.... she said no .... they said $485.00 wife said no ended up charging $375.00. The disposal was $100.00 and they was there less than an hour. Also had sidewalk cleaned off all snow technicians walked across yard tracking in snow and leaves across carpet.

We get roots in our main line 1-2 times per year. These guys are great. We have never had anything except friendly professional service.

Left me absolutely hanging!!!! Called 9a Saturday and asked you're sure somebody will be here, and she said yes, I said awesome I'll be here all day - told her it was a ninety degree fitting leaking on a 3/8 water line if he needed to know what to bring. Guy shows up and looks up in the ceiling where I had cut a big box out of the sheetrockand says yep, bad news is I don't have the parts to fix, need to reschedule for Monday. I said I will go to hardware store 5 minutes from my house and get what you need, oh we can't use your parts and I'm the only plumber available today. Then proceeded to tell me to go to hardware store and get parts and how EASY it would be for ME to fix it. WTF?! I SPENT 6 HOURS THE NIGHT BEFORE TRYING TO RE SOLDER IT AND COULDN'T GET IT TO SEAL - THAT'S WHY I CALLED TO PAY SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting pretty frustrated. Had them out last Friday for a service call about a clogged toilet in our office. The repairman needed to remove the toilet to get the rooter to reach the plant roots that had invaded the pipe, which of course is fine. It seemed like most of the work was done, though I wasn't watching over him. He went ahead and started cleaning up, then went into his truck parked in front of the office for about 15 minutes. I assumed he was writing up the invoice, receipt, or other paperwork we needed. So we were pretty surprised when the truck backed up, and then drove away. No paperwork from the plumber, no "bye" or "have a good day" or anything. So we went into the bathroom to find the top of the toilet tank lid still off and across the room (no big deal). Then we noticed the toilet wasn't put back on the exact spot it came off from, so there's a large discolored area all along the left side at the floor. We then noticed the toilet handle pointing straight down to the floor. Looked inside the tank and the metal arm that goes horizontally across, attached to the handle, also broken and hanging down. Upon further inspection, the plastic nut that holds these together had clearly just been broken. I went up to Lowe's, and bought a replacement toilet handle and lever, and just installed it myself. I tried calling Monday morning to tell them what happened. My number was taken by the secretary and I was told I'd get a call back; never happened. I called back again today (Wed.) to just tell them and get it over with. Now I supposedly can't talk to anyone but the secretary because the "supervisors are in the field so much, they'll probably get back to you next Monday". Really?! I just wanted to speak with a manager/supervisor for 10 lousy minutes, and maybe have them take the replacement cost of the handle they broke off my bill, and be done with it! No one there can take a 10 minute phone call? And their website (and greeting message they make the secretaries say) goes on and on about integrity. Funny.
