Old timey grocery store. If you need over the counter medications or feminine products you will not find them here. Just the basic household necessities and food fare. C
Some things can be pricey. But I have found some amazing prices on plenty of items. They sell wine as well. Small parking lot. But always have a space available. I love it there!

I have always held [T]hem in high esteem ... Many "off" brands with high quality... besides... You will not find ANYWHERE a smoked whitefish salad of better quality than here... regardless of price or name. 
   I am originally from Jersey...and , from a predominantly Jewish and Italian neighborhood. I am well acquainted with the food and what is or is not up to "SNUFF" . 
   One of the very few stores that also sell beer and wine. The Deli is an absolute must visit. Their meats (beef and whatnot) are labeled under some very old designations.... ie; "Playboy Steak" "Delmonico" plus many more... I have not seen these names in almost 50 years. NOSTALGIC ! 
   PLUS ! ! 
   You will not find SERVICE like this .... probably, ANYWHERE ELSE ...! ! The cashiers, baggers..  and basic help here far exceeds most anywhere else. 
   Yeah , I am fond of them...but for good reason !

Very nice small supermarket. Great prices and sales and they carry some brands that are not found at other big chain markets. All this and a fantastic selection of beer and wine. What has kept them in business however if obvious--they have the friendliest staff I have ever seen anywhere. Hands down.

You never have to stand in line waiting to check out. Always well staffed. Great prices on so many items. Quality. Selection of wines is top notch. Shop local. Produce is beautiful.

Sniders has been a longtime attraction for DC-area shoppers. It's in a convenient location -- the Silver Spring-Wheaton area -- easy to access, and a particularly enjoyable experience because it's "one of a kind" and not part of a chain, with attractive ambience and pricing. 

There is a wonderful selection of foods, including kosher and international, and beverages, including alcoholic. 

As the store can get crowded at peak hours and on weekends, and around Jewish as well as Christian holidays, it's best to come to do shopping at other times.
