We are locals and wanted to give it a try. The first experience was pretty good, although our “hour” was 45 minutes since we were notified 40 minutes in it was time to wrap it up. ...loved the tub and the environment though and wanted to try again. Fast forward, I wanted to take my 68 year old mother who visits once a year to “soak”. I called on a Monday night at 8pm to book for Tuesday. At approximately 4am Tuesday my mother woke up extremely ill, ultimately determined to have food poisoning. In the midst of trying to comfort her I looked at the FAQs. Having owned a retail business for 10 years I know the struggle and did not want to leave them hanging. I went to the website and saw that cancellations had to be made 6 hours prior. Thinking logically, how could/would they fill a spot at 4am considering they don’t open until 11. Lela called me at 11:15 and after I explained my situation she politely, yet condescendingly told me I would be charged and I “should have left a message”. She told me the owner wouldn’t “go for it” and she was “kind of tough”. I asked if I she could call me, but was dismissed like a village peasant. I’m not going to dispute the charge Soak, you can keep my money. Like I said, I have owned a retail service based business and know firsthand the power of word of mouth. I do have a “pro-tip” for you, annotate on the FAQ’s to leave a message on the event a cancellation happens, even off hours. Would have been an easy fix and more positive experience/review.

It's easy to understand how this place has become such a favorite spot for some of our friends. It is clean and laid back, with warm, comforting light, and appointments. Shoes are taken off upon entering, just like visiting a friend's home; it quickly becomes a transition from the impersonal tension of the outer world into the welcoming comfort of a place you know you can relax, even if you've never been before. Tea is poured, you're ushered into a soak room, private or public, and the calm begins. Such a great way to end the week, or a day. See Jen for a massage that will take pain away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I feel kind of guilty...this is one of those places that should be kept a secret.

Nice atmosphere, but not convinced it's worth the price

This place is wonderful! Super clean and relaxing atmosphere. And the pricing is incredible. We did the community soak room and it was heavenly. $20 to hang out in their giant tub, use the sauna, and shower for as long as we wanted. It is clothing optional (a huge plus for us) and everyone was very respectful. The staff is very sweet and attentive. Cannot wait to come back!
