Had a situation where I had to change my rep payee because I relocated. Representative on the phone told me there was only so much he could do since I "belong" to another office. Sounded like something rude someone in the background told him to say judging by how many times he put me on hold but who knows? Other than that experience, the office was mostly helpful.

Mailed my passport as a form of id to get a replacement SS card. Received a new SS card with my name still spelled incorrectly. Talked to a manager who mailed me out a brand new SS card with my name spelled correctly as it was listed on my passport. My passport was supposedly mailed last month and I never received it back. This replacement SS card is now costing me as I need to pay for a new passport expedited along with paying for another visa for the country I'm going to visit. Do not trust these people with your id. Someone working there is either snatching id's and selling them or they're so careless that they mailed my id to someone else. Which, btw if you're out there and you have my passport I will offer a reward if you return it to me.
