I went here because I was feeling that I needed a counselor.I was telling my story about how the police lying under oath really got to my head. I told her about me growing up in rough neighborhoods. I told her about almost getting “jumped” recently and having to pull out a knife . I told her that some of the things I do is like trump with plausible deniability. That made the lady’s eye twitch ,which made me realize she might be racist. If you go here be careful with what you say if you are a person of color because they have a right to send you to the luny ward, which they did to me. I was let out the same day and was told to go to a more reputable place to seek advice. The lady disappeared and excused her self like she needed to get a paper ,but called the police. The police was hiding behind the door listening to our conversation. They where looking to find something to charge me with. The police eventually walked in and interrogated me about the things I said. I realized the lady was asking me questions that would give the police something to use against me. I thought there was confidentiality, but you can go to jail if you talk about the things that are really bothering you. Long story short be careful with trying to seek help because if someone is not looking for your best interest they can make your life difficult. Knowledge is power and you telling people your story is giving them power over your life. Would you give a 100$ bill to someone and expect them to do the right thing. You will never guess the people that will do right or wrong. The hard truth is you can’t judge a book by its cover.smh.
