I registered for Medicare benefits Part B on November 3rd 2017. The start date for the coverage is supposed to be 2/1/18. I do need to enroll in a Medigap coverage to start on the same date. I am unable to do this because Medicare has not yet issued my Plan B coverage(card or letter) even though I applied early enough to keep there from being time issues. I have been informed by Social Security that this is how the system works and I will not get my registration information until the date gets much closer. My wife applied on the same day as I did, and already has her Medicare card with her "B" coverage starting on 2/1/18. Something is wrong with this. My phone call in today was answered with the line"That's how the system works". I sure could use some HELP to get this rectified. The person I talked to would not give me a managers name to whom I could discuss this issue.

Mrs. Creem and Mrs. Robinson were beyond helpful. they showed compassion and understanding that was above and beyond the job. I am very grateful for their support and help.

Agree extremely rude guy behind window 1 went there today and the tone he had with the person at the window before me was so rude and unprofessional that people in the waiting room were talking about it he was polite to me but when I changed the address I wanted my card sent to after I already gave him a address he repeated the question with a tone of such aggravation I understand working with people all day must be hard but maybe you need a new job if you are going to be so rude that everyone in the waiting room is hoping you don't call their number
