The decor is awesome. There is plenty of free parking spaces but the traffic may be a little dense. Our food was mostly lukewarm. The french fries were the hottest part and they were not terribly hot meaning that the food was left in the warmer longer than was normal. It was not that busy so there is no excuse for that slow service in delivering the food to the table. I was not particularly impressed with the taste of the salmon tacos as it was a bit Bland. I also had to return them because the salmon was not cooked very much . After the beef vegetables soup was rewarmed it was delicious. The salmon in the salmon wrap was cooked much better than mine so it was not the way it is normally prepared. The Brews were excellent however and the staff was friendly otherwise I would certainly have downgraded my opinion

The Sockeye is a loud, vivacious, fun place that has great pub food with a salmon twist. Based on others reviews, my wife tried the salmon tacos, and they didn't disappoint. The slaw was the only part that was in any way lacking. I had the Reuben, which is hard to get right. With a delicious house roasted corn beef that was tender and flavorful, it was a decent sandwich. Only thing missing was a homemade tangy thousand island to go with the nicely toasted marble rye. Their sweet potatoe fries were excellent, crispy and well seasoned. I don't normally mention the house salad, but they did a good job, which was unexpected for this style a place. The price was really reasonable; we ate for under $25 before tip. A great option for the whole family.

Today was our first visit to Sockeye Brewing. We can to meet up with another couple. It was Friday night and we came early to beat the initial crowds. By the time we left, they were packed. I don't drink beer, so I cannot comment on that aspect of their offering, but I had the Friday special Fish and Chips with the Halibut and it was really good. I highly recommend it. The service was very good as well.

Hana was fantastic! We were a 10-top for a birthday party. A wild group was no match for a seasoned server. GREAT service GREAT food. Definitely be back!

Great place for a date night, it was busy on a Saturday night and once we got the food it was obvious why. If you have to wait for a seat it will be worth it, and you can ask to sit at the bar while you wait. We ordered the finger steaks as an app and they were great, beer battered with their amber ale and not too greasy. I had their meatloaf dinner and it was some of the best meatloaf I've had and the portion was perfect. My wife had the bronco burger with sweet potato fries and everything was cooked perfectly. This brewery doesn't hide behind their beers. They make high quality food that stands up to some really good beer. I've come here for happy hour after work and grabbed a $3 pint and a plate of poutine which was also very good.
