It’s obvious that the owner put a lot of money into this business. The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. I would definitely recommend. However, because this place is so great, it gets very crowded from the time it opens. So definitely make reservations or get there super early. Lastly, they have a somewhat outdoor seating area! It was very clean and beautiful by the way.

Went for brunch. Their mac n cheese is GOOD. Creamy and filling. All that's missing is the lobster and/or bacon. The chicken and waffles (red velvet) is also pretty good. Chickens nice and crispy, and their waffles have this nice, rich cocoa flavor. It's a bit expensive, I dropped $45 for ONE meal. Low-key worth it though. The only thing I didn't like was the crowded-ness, but it's to be expected. It was brunch on a Saturday afternoon before Easter 😅

We went there for Sunday brunch. It opens at 12pm on the dot. It's a little tight in there but they make the most of the space. The food presentation was magnificent. We had the lobster/shrimp and grits, the sweet potato pancakes and the chicken and red velvet waffles. The pancakes were just ok but everything else was exceptional. The service was good. Our waiter Rob, was attentive and kept us updated with the progress of out food. Cool spot.

Unfortunately, the hype surround SOCO was overshadowed by the terrible service we received while dining. Our server, Crystal, was obviously disengaged and had little motivation to ensure the table was properly taken care of. She collected our order, and dropped off our drinks and was virtually unseen for the remainder of the meal. Water and food was delivered by runners. Our hush puppies appetizer was served STONE COLD. Drinks were completely empty and not offered to be refilled until the check was being printed. Asked for a side of barbecue sauce that was never delivered. Appetizer plates were whisked away by the runners while we were still eating. A mandatory 20% gratuity (which from what i understand is "tiered" with percentages changing based on how many individuals you have at the table) will drive this business into the ground. Servers lack motivation to take care of their guests and have no fear that their tips will be impacted. Too bad, because overall, the food was pretty good. Unlikely that I will return.

Great Food! The Lobster, Shrimp & Grits were delicious and that Dirty South Side Car was on point! Very good service was there with a large party and they were very accommodating and attentive.
