The service was good. Granted I was the the only one there at that time. The food was excellent. I had the sashimi dinner. Strange that they not have what I had initially ordered. That was the only downer.

Food was okay but we had a similar experience as most people. The rice tasted a bit old and our sushi rolls were not made correctly. The rolls fell apart immediately on picking them up (they were also super sticky and I had to rip each piece from the next). The eggplant in garlic sauce was okay but the sauce almost tasted like BBQ and each piece was sliced halfway a bunch (I assume to get the flavor of the sauce in, but it just made it super messy and harder to eat). My husband got the duck and each piece had fat on it that of course was hard to chew through but the flavor of the dish was alright. Even the miso soups' taste was a bit off but not terrible.

It is very close to the metro station and the food is amazing. Compared with other Japanese restaurant in NYC, the price is quite affordable, especially in the lunch time. It is a friendly place for families with kids too.

One of the best Japanese restaurant. It is fancy but yet affordable. Very tasty. Sushi is super fresh!
