Came here back in August to get an oil change on my 2016 scooter I had purchased 2 months previously from a private seller. The seller has purchased the scooter from solano cycle and I read online they did a loyalty program for people who had purchased their scooters there for service at a lower cost. I also asked them to fix my bent and loose mirrors and check my rear tire to see if it needed to be replaced. They said everything was fine. I got home to realize my one mirror was not fixed but I figured I would have them fix it in the future. Two weeks later the other mirror they "fixed" was loose again. Two weeks after that, I happened to look at my tire and see what looked like tar coming out of it. I showed it to a mechanic friend of mine who said the previous owner must have used a fix a flat type substance and that I should not be driving on it and it needed to be replaced. Clearly solano cycle did not check my tires, or fix my mirrors. I was charged a whopping $87 for just an oil change, even though not having the loyalty program it shows $30 at most online. I could have been seriously injured or ruined the rims on my scooter due to the holes in the tire they supposedly checked. Do not bring your scooters here!!!! I went to another motorcycle mechanic in the area who was wonderful and replaced my tire for $70 even though solano cycle had previously quoted me a minimum of $130.

I took my daughter's GIO electric scooter to Solano to diagnose the reason to voltage was going to the ignition or any accessories. They had it for 6 weeks with absolutely NO clue as to the source of the problem. They described the problem as similar to dropping a cell phone and trying to identify the source of the problem. In their words, "ONLY FAR WORSE" With that remark, I loaded it and took it to a former GIO dealer in Delray Beach, FL. I rolled it into his showroom and he immediately used his multimeter to determine IF the power was producing required voltage. If the power was being sent from the controller to the ignition. In that second step, he pointed to the source of the problem which was a severed red lead wire just ahead of the ignition. In 15 minutes, he visually identified the source of the problem and had it repaired in 20 minutes. He did in 20 minutes what Solano failed to do in six weeks and his labor was half of what I was charged by Solano for "looking at it" - but seeing or doing nothing to identify or make any kind of repair. It appears that they spent more time writing the "diagnostic" bill. Do not be misled by the $37.50 diagnostic charge they quote on their Web page!

I dropped of my dirtbike to be fixed as something with the rear tire was broken, they did an amazing job fixing it the only thing was that when I got it back the idle was turned so my bike wouldn't idle and they had by kickstand bent so it could barely bend I don't know if this was a scam to make us comeback or just an accident overall a okay business
