Story

Max Gropper started the business in 1950 and if he could see it today he would be proud of how the business has grown and the impact Somerville Aluminum has made on the community.

The roots of this company started with aluminum storm windows and to this day we still offer storm windows. The business has expanded to vinyl and wood windows, doors, siding, roofing, decking, sunrooms, awnings and full kitchen and bath remodeling.

The products have changed and the processes have changed but what hasn’t changed is who we are. In addition to delivering great product from our manufacturing partners we also install correctly. Our ability to find the best in class manufacturers coupled with our PRO installers delivers your dream.

What separates us from other contractors out there is our team of experienced PRO installers who have years of working on challenging projects and doing things right. We are dedicated to our customer base and to our employees and maintaining those same values over three generations has enabled our longevity.

The best part of what we do is the next day, when we are sitting at our desks and the phone rings and our customers call to tell us how happy they are with their finished project.
