My family ordered two drinks while they were shopping at the mall. While waiting 14 minutes to receive the drinks, I had the unfortunate opportunity to observe the cleanliness and food preparation that took place. If you do not mind employees touching their hair, mouth, nose, and inside their pockets just prior to touching your food and reaching inside your bag, eat here. You will not be disappointed. If you are picky about how your food is prepared, do not eat here.
The staff was nice but the food was garbage. The chili cheese fries were floating in grease and the burger was thrown together and slathered with mayo.
My best friend and I went up to order our food and we could tell that they did not want to work there. They were very rude. They gave us tired and attitude looks. They got out order wrong and when asking us what we wanted, this one cashier talked slowly and gave attitude. They didn’t tell my friend our ticket number so when calling the order, they got frustrated. When telling us something would be cheaper, we got it and they gave us a higher price for what we ordered. The workers there have no spirit and know how rude they are. We’re just gonna go get auntie Ann’s pretzels next time
Most of my food was fine but when I was eating my mozzarella sticks I bit into a piece of plastic!! Disgusting! When I went up to the counter to tell the manager, the cashier was very shocked and surprised but the manager was leaning back at the expedition counter acting all nonchalant. When I expressed my concern his response was, "it probably comes from the manufacturer like that." He never got up and addressed me at the counter. When I said I didn't want another one, I walked away and he shouted if I wanted a refund. I turned back not realizing what he said, he repeated it again still not leaving his leaning position against that back counter. At this point I was just frustrated with his demeanor and said I was fine and left. I mean seriously!?
Ok so where do I begin?? Food was awful fries were greasy and under cooked. Tenders were previously cooked then dropped in oil when I ordered and were not only burnt but oily. Chocolate shake was not properly mixed so there was chocolate powder pockets. And it was watery. Just an all around horrible experience! Will not ever be coming back!
I’m definitely not one to ever leave reviews but this needs to be addressed. I don’t expect change to happen because its fast food in the mall, and at this point I highly doubt their corporate cares.... I have worked at the Hulen Mall for 7 years now and I have never ever gotten any type of good customer service in my 7 years here. Nothing is ever wrong with the food - my expectations aren’t high because like I said, it’s fast food in the mall! But I think you all should really invest time on your hiring because all these KIDS you hire are shi**y and don’t know a thing about customers service. Truthfully, not even the managers know what customer service means. But hey, maybe Sonic doesn’t even care! *shrugs*
Terrible place. No supervision, couldn't get a receipt after using credit card, ordered a limeade and it was made with lime slushie syrup, ordered a footlong chili cheese dog that was stuffed in a brown sack and stood on end! Chili and cheese was in the bottom of the bag. Lady working front was just scooping cups to fill ice, then a mall employee comes up with sonic cup used one and the lady just runs cup into the ice machine...seriously people just avoid that place!
Rude young man that refused to replace a sprite that was all carbonated water. Told my wife to go to the back of the line and told my daughter that they would not give refills. Poorest service I have seen at Sonic. I understand training young people but this kids need to be fired
I've given this place 2 chances now I'm flat out not coming back. I do not appreciate the way the employees present themselves. Hygiene is very important male or female and while waiting for my food I noticed a lot of touching face and scratching back then grabbing customer food. Not appreciate!
Manager was selling drugs while on duty! Perfect example for children to witness, in a public place, best part of the experience? Watching him prep food without gloves, distribute narcotics then back to cooking. I give him props though, putting it in a sonic bag with free food, on his second transaction made me laugh, I mean “here’s some dope, and some free food to nourish your body” kind of makes me think sonic much be aware of the situation if he’s giving free food to all his clients to hide that he’s selling drugs.
