It is Sonic.  What can I say that a national advertising campaign hasn't already.  Decent burgers (for fast food) and a large drink selection.  I've had a short wait a few times, but the service has always been fine.

Last night my Dad and I were excited to get a pair of malts, and when we tried to order them, the lady taking the order barked rather rudely "It's gonna take a while." So we said we were happy to wait and tried to place the order again, she got even more vicious in her tone when she said "I told you its gonna take a while. We got too many we gotta make. Order something else." Again, we still tried to order, ready to wait and she still refused, and when we asked about how long the wait would be, she said. "How would I know?! It's gonna take a while!" So I suggested, while she was on the intercom, to my Dad that we go to the American Pie Diner next door. As we drove past, there were only FIVE vehicles at the Sonic including our own, and some had people already eating in them. 

Interesting note, we got a pair of Malts at the diner despite them being filled to the brim and thin on staff. The wait is worth it if the staff is willing to do something, even if it takes a little time because of logistics. 

If the Sonic management ever reads this, I think your night crew needs extensive retraining on customer service. The customer should be allowed the chance to choose to wait for something they really want.

Workers are cordial and polite. Food was tasty and the appropriate temperature when received. MY ONLY disappointment was that they no longer serve the frozen coffee drink.

My favorite place in the world I am a returning customer really good customer service and they move really quickly and always get your order right and they have really good deals as well as happy hour

My vanilla milkshake tasted of banana and my friend's tater tots morphed into french fries. Great experience!
