5 stars for food: I had 1/2 dozen charbroiled oysters and 1/2 dozen raw oysters. Charbroiled oysters were excellent, great butter sauce, lightly seasoned (other places put too much stuff on the oysters). The raw oysters were, of course very fresh. I also had corn-and-shrimp bisque. Perfect food. 4 stars for service: They did not time serving the items, so they all came out sort-of at once. That said, when I'm in the area again, I'll return.

The oysters are just the best you can eat. And you should definitely eat more than the dozen. So yummy! The rest of the food we had was good as well, but not very particular. We had the feeling, that we were not very welcome with our two kids and there was no baby change in any restroom. So come here to eat great oysters (again they are really goooooood), but better to leave your toddler at home with the baby sitter.

The charbroiled oysters are literally the best thing I have ever eaten. EVER. That is no exaggeration whatsoever. I will visit this place every time I am in New Orleans -- for the oysters. That being said, the rest of the food was great and the service was quite good too. I will most certainly be back. Did I mention the charbroiled oysters are amazing?? I ordered the duck and steamed oyster pasta for my entre -- it is pictured below.

I came here 5 yrs ago and want to visit here again..the food was still delicious especially the fried oysters and raw oysters. The Maine Lobster was good and tasty also. I also ordered Pasta Jambalaya and it was so good. I would definitely come back here again whenever I’m in New Orleans.

This restaurant said they invented char broiled oyster s. I believe it. $24 for a dz oyster oysters, very expensive I thought, but boy were they delicious! We also had a dz raw, which are my favorite, and they too were great. A Abita, beer, was only$2.25. it was our dessert that day and we enjoyed every bite!
