I have never been to a Sonic so I had no idea how it worked.  Thankfully a staff member explained how it worked and we got back in the car and made an order. 

Service was fast and the foot was good for fast food. I had a milkshake/ice mixture that was delicious. Prices are good too. I would easily go back.

They don't even deserve 1 star.  After waiting 15 for our food, we told the waitress to charge $2 for tip after she asked.  She came back with a receipt that didn't show the tip.  After we asked her for proof of the tip charge, she showed us the receipt (the one showing the charge and total) she kept in her pocket (we were told they keep the receipt and customers don't get it! 🙄).  Sure enough, she took $3.  We told her we wanted the $1 back.  After approximately 20 minutes of no return, the "manager" finally came out to go to the bathroom.  We spoke with him about it, and he was very quick to interrupt us without us fully explaining what happened.  He was not concerned about why we wanted the tip back, and he did not apologize for what happened.  The waitress finally returned with $1.  We then told her to just give us all of the tip back.  She looked at us like we had lost our minds!!!  We got the money back, and we will never return!  Did the $3 really matter?  No!  It's the principle.  Check your bank account after visiting here. 😡

Poor customer service, if they serve you at all. They are easily stressed over a few cars pulling up. "Chef" walked out when he saw people at several tables waiting to order. Do them a favor and go elsewhere. A few customers a day is what they are prepared to serve.

Ice cream is always good but don't order hot food. Last time I ordered a burger it was COLD, like it had come out of the fridge. gross
