Small, cozy eatery with great food. Owner-operated and they work hard to make you feel at home and satisfied. Food is great. Had the turkey-brie-spiced pear sandwich with a cup of homemade cream of mushroom soup - delicious and ample! Hubby had pastrami with side of potato salad and loved it! We'll be back!

Food was good but service - not so much. We had to get our own silverware and when my husband spilled his glass of water on our table, no one acknowledged it or tried to help even after i told them he spilled. We were just offered extra napkins that I had to get up and ask for at the bar. REALLY?

We were visiting the area and unfamiliar with places. It happened to be Father's Day and we wanted brunch. I have come to rely on Yelp for reliable information. A flag on the listing suggested calling to confirm hours because of the holiday. I did, and asked if there would be a wait for a table. I was told "not now, but we can't guarantee that it will stay this way." Made the call around noon. Got there at 12:10, noticed the hours were until 2...and was told "sorry, we're not seating any more tables." Why not tell me that on the phone ten minutes earlier? Worst service experience I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Maybe I needed to know the secret password. Happy Father's Day to me.

Had a really good lunch with my wife at Walnuts Cafe. The food was delicious and the service was great. A very comfortable place with a nice atmosphere and complete menu.

Very disappointed. Have been in many times and came back to enjoy Father's Day with my husband and daughter. I called ahead to make sure they were open and was told "Yes, we're serving until 2pm." We arrived at 12 and were told they were no longer serving. I explained I had already called and the hostess offered to seat us, but as we were sitting down a server came over and said "We're out of food." Wow. Not impressed. We will not be back. Try Truffles instead for the money.
