Very disappointed today with this Sonny’s drive through. It took 35 min to get our food! And they weren’t even busy! Just poor operation by the window clerk. We got there 730pm and left 805 pm. There were only 2 cars in front who had already ordered. When we got to the order board, the clerk said I’ll be right with you. After waiting 15 min I said Hello? She said I’m trying to get these orders out in front of you and I will be right with you. If she had taken my order, the kitchen could be working on it and it would be ready when I got to the window to pay. Instead it was another 5 min when she took my order. Both cars in front had already paid and left. So I was now sitting at the window 15 min waiting for 2 simple chicken dinners. WHY? She then did the same to those behind me. Took my order, then one other, then stopped until we got our food even though one was sitting at the board. If a car is at the board take the order so the kitchen can work on it. There were only 5-6 cars in the parking lot and some were leaving, so kitchen was not the hold up. The clerk had no sense of urgency and had time to chat with a waitress for 5 min when she could have been taking the 3rd car’s order. I eat inside frequently, but will never come here for take out again. And she should ask what kind of sauce I want instead of just giving sweet without asking. But by then I just wanted to get out of there. Somebody train your staff how to keep the drive through moving!

The WAITER, SID, WAS EXCELLENT. .... what a warm, caring, efficent, servant kind of character He Is!!! If ever they thought of Letting him go, they are out of their heads. He's the kind of employee you want to reward, over and over. (In fact, our visit was right after power returned after the Irma hurricane outage. BUT truly, each employee seems to do their best.....HOORAY FOR SONNY'S , Haines City....

I only go here to eat maybe twice a year, and the last two times I have been dissapointed. I always get the family feast. Last night, which was Sunday night we ordered our meal and we thought everything was great. They brought out the platter and about 10 minutes into my meal I realized Our chicken was missing from our family meal. I told a different waitress near my table that my chicken was missing. My waitress was coming to our table with sliced turkey to make up for the chicken. I don't want turkey, I ordered my meal because I assumed they had what came with it and I wasn't Informed before I ordered that they had ran out of chicken. This also happened to me the last time as well, They ran out of chicken and didn't inform me until I had already ordered the giant family meal. It's so irritating, I think I will go to a different sonny's, but it really sucks because the Haines City location is closest to my house. Maybe one-day they will prepare enough Chicken! She also filled me up a to go cup of the drink I was drinking, and gave me regular coke instead of diet coke. I assumed she knew because that's what I ordered with my meal. I am diabetic and I can't drink sugar. I had to have her change that for me as well.. Not a happy experience!

We love this place, I've eaten there so much I should have my own table! This is the best location, Haines City! Best servers, cooks, and most importantly BBQ!

The restaurant looks nice. Very disappointed in the salad bar. Sub par. It looks like they water down the ranch. It totally put the kiss of death on my meal. My husband enjoyed his food. I'm glad one of us did.
