The food is amazing! Tastes just like good home cooked comfort food should.  I've tried everything on the menu and I wasn't disappointed. I've also had them do catering orders and everyone loved it.  The owner is great, the service is good.

The food was ok. It's ok enough to have when u don't feel like cooking at home which was exactly y I went. But as I experience with most black owned businesses, they operate with a sense of THEY'RE DOING US, THE CUSTOMER, A FAVOR. I don't like their shrewd customer service. I think that they could be waaaaay more friendly and happy that I stopped at their establishment rather than traveling all the way to 51st and State st. Anyway it was alright

The food is good when they have all the items on the menu they tend to run out of food frequently and the owner has the worst attitude! It never fails every time she is there her customer skills are terrible that alone will make a business go down the drain! Will not return I try to support black owned businesses but not this time! The owner is setting a bad example for her employees she treat them and talk to them along with customers like children two thumbs down!!

For the most part the food is really good. They just lack good customer service (moods and attitudes are not good for business). Being kind and friendly while serving people their food is NOT a lot to ask.
