All the staff is really good with animals and pets, very gentle, even the receptionists. It is a very clean and inviting facility, too. The prices are also really great and affordable.

They are a pet hospital yet when I took in my cousins dog I was watching because he was pooping blood, they definitely weren't in a rush to get him in. I would think emergent situations would take precedence over preventative care appointments. But nope.
Also I took my dog here for a well check and they said the plaque on her teeth were bad enough that she would be placed under anesthesia so they can clean them off and that they might need to pull teeth. I immediately got a second opinion and he said no teeth need to be pulled and she doesn't need a procedure. He simply recommend that I brush her teeth with CET toothpaste and return in a few weeks to see if proper progress is being made. I returned to him and he said they are amazing and just to keep up with the brushing. Her teeth did have plaque because I wasn't aware that I needed to brush them but it wasn't so bad that the first step should be an anesthesia procedure. Putting animals or and living being under anesthesia is ALWAYS a risk. I went to Country Lakes Vet in Spicer and will continue to until he is no longer practicing.

South 71 is my dogs vet. I have never met nicer staff and the vets and vet techs are top notch. You will not find a better clinic for your 4 legged family members.

This is a great vet you can trust. They love animals and the pricing is very affordable. I recommend everyone to this place.

No matter what you bring your animal in for they charge an a@@ load for testing to only say uhhh we don't know what happened uhhh pay us 2000 dollars uhhh every time 3 times now we are not  bringing our pets here any more
