In the mid 1970s, 4 women worked tirelessly to bring a library to the historic town of Saxonburg. Their effort led to the purchase of a tiny cabin in the center of town that they filled with donated books. Almost 40 years later, the Library is located right across the street in the former Berger's Meat Market and has a collection of over 20,000 items, as well as public computers, meeting space, cutting edge technologies, and gathering spaces for all ages.
Our staff and volunteers are committed to providing a positive and helpful experience for you when you visit the Library. We view the Library as a vibrant community gathering place for everyone who walks through the door.
We believe it’s essential to give our patrons access to cutting-edge information in all its formats. While books and movies are a large portion of the information we provide, we also strive to give you access to new technologies, such as our Afinia 3D Printer, an Orion Starblast Telescope, and a variety of eReaders that you may borrow.
Dedicated to building community connections and providing tools for lifelong discovery.
