*Please Note that the car entrance to South County Museum is from Strathmore Street only. Museum access cannot be made from Anne Hoxsie Lane. Sorry for any confusion.
Admissions Hours and Rates
We are open to the general public from the first weekend in May through September. Special arrangements can be made for October by calling the museum.
Spring and Fall Hours — May, June & September:
Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Summer Hours — July & August:
Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
October: Tours by appointment

Library Pass may be obtain at local museums

Accessibility & Special Services
Our main exhibit buildings are wheelchair-accessible.
Bathroom facilities are available in the Visitor Building and the Metz Exhibit Building.
A baby-changing station is in the Metz Exhibit Building.
Policies and Guidelines
Please do not disturb the animals. Animals are unpredictable; horns, hooves, teeth and beaks can cause injury.
Walk carefully -- large farm animals may have preceded you.
Smoking is not permitted inside our buildings. Eating and drinking are permitted only with permission from a staff member.
Please, for your own safety, do not walk or climb on fences, walls, trees or farm machines.
Service animals may be admitted. Pets are allowed only on a leash.
