I was fishing South Fork Reservoir and it was a late bite I caught one nice big trout wait about 3 and 1/2 lb and that was the only fish I lost a couple good bites I'm not going to see where I caught my fish I caught it from the shoreline all's I know and tell anybody that fish is there use powerbait salmon Peach it's one of the best it has a good scent and with water level is high as it is you have to cast way out there from the store unless you're and a deep hole area and my secret to is using ultralight fishing line was a little heavier weight 4 to 6 lb what size 14 hook treble hook and the fish a lot of power and took a long time. Run and didn't want to give up very good fight

I visited the south end of this lake and had a great time in my kayak. There were a lot of jet skiiers but the lake is huge and people are nice. Fishing is nice here but I never caught anything worth eating.

google directions take you to the west side, which is more for camping with your jet ski or fishing from shore. We wanted to be on the east side. Two sites have full hookups. Rangers were helpful

Awesome campground. Only a few sites with power, water and sewer. Staff were great, facilities were clean and we'll kept. We stayed in the east campground as it is much more private lots. The west side has water front sites but are less private.
