With a panoramic mountain view and backing two of five casinos, the Wendover KOA has it all. Located just 10 miles from the world-famous Bonneville Salt Flats, where customized cars set land-speed records, you'll find excellent fishing, bird-watching, hiking and even scuba diving in the area. Whether you're attracted to the casinos or the wild mustang herds that frequent the area, or you're looking for an oasis at day's end, this is a place to kick back and relax. The Wendover KOA (Mountain time zone) is open year-round, with a seasonal heated outdoor pool, mini golf, a grocery and souvenir shop, laundry and much more. Enjoy large pull thru sites. This campground is big rig and pet friendly.

We were woken up numerous time during the night to the sounds of loud train horns. Turns out the train tracks are not far from the RV park. I would guess that you would even hear the trains from all the hotels too. We should have checked google aerial maps before making this city our designation. So take your ear-plugs or be ready for a long noisy night. All sites are gravel. Park is clean. Stayed couple of nights in January 2018 and had the whole place to ourselves.

Love staying here as an alternative to the Casinos and motels. They have several cozy cabins available to rent year round for a very reasonable rate. They have electric heaters and air conditioning to heat and cool as necessary. Plan ahead because you will need to bring your own bedding. the beds are camping pads on top of built in log beds. there is a full size bed and a set of twin bunk beds in the cabin we stayed in. the little porch has a swing and there is a built in bbq pit. Restrooms and showers are a short walk away from the cabins and are clean and safe.

Spacious and clean campsite. KOA is easy to get to right off the I-80 behind the Red Garter casino. Staff is friendly, restrooms and laundry are well maintained. Great views of the mountains and Salt Flats. Felt at home here.

Although I got there in the middle of the afternoon there was no one in the office. I was instructed to fill out an envelope and drop the money in the night deposit. Worked just fine. This is a great place for one-night or more. I felt very safe there.

I reserved a cabin. I arrived to a very pleasant staff. Got to cabin which was quite far from bathrooms and in a depressing and dismal setting. Campground is dirt and gravel, lots of flies, no shade. I did not feel safe, not comfortable crossing grounds to use restrooms. Ending up finding a hotel and had to pay for the cabin I did not use. This KOA needs a lot of TLC. A big disappointment.
