This is our go to campground at Rend Lake. Pently of nice large sites with plenty of room to play. Nice play grounds and the start of the trial is there as well. Still close to food and shops, which is good as we always forgot something and have to run to Walmart. The loop that over looks  party over is full hookup  and it is difficult to get a spot. You should book well ahead of time if possible. There is usually  plenty of first come sites as well. There is two walk up site areas that are beneath tall pines. They are very pretty areas. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the bath and shower house are clean and taken care of.
