i got into a car accident & was super hurt. although i refused the ambulance . i just had a airbag pop in my face & cuts everywhere. i was crying/ upset at what had happened, but they were too busy consoling a women who was fine and was just making a joke of it all. she got to drive away & mine had to be towed. police had me get my stuff that i needed had me sit near the busiest street (goodman) to wait for my parents who live in Byhalia. They waited until my my car was towed & left me. they couldn't wait with me for 15 minute until i was picked up. i had cuts all over me & a bad headache, & was crying refusely like i said . how can they leave a person like that who is young & female. a lot worse could've happened & all the judgement i probably got. horrible horrible people. they are not human.

The 1 star review is not for the Police, I am reporting a dangerous driver in a red truck that was viciously swerving from lane to lane on Getwell right before you get to Rasco Rd. White male, medium-slim sized red pickup truck, Desoto Co. license plate DA6 419. I witnessed his poor driving that almost caused a wreck with a black car and in a road rage with a white car. I've already left a msg with your department.

Racism at its finest! Even other police departments know that Southaven police department consists of Racism and racial profiling those of color. They also follow no civil rights that a civilian has anymore. No Miranda's being read none of that. Majority of the officers should not be qualified to be police officers . Red neck hill billy with jackass attitude in uniforms are going to be the ones that gets you. Watch out! One of the worst police departments in Mississippi. Avoid contact with them!

Experienced car trouble. Very kind officer helped us get out of harms way and followed us to safety. Hate I didn't get his name. Very much appreciated. 👏👏👏👏👏

Another garbage police department. When they're not busy collecting revenue on dubious tickets or arresting African Americans on trumped up charges, they're breaking into the wrong home and killing a man, then rushing to lay the blame at his feet. No accountability from the department of the city government as a whole. The people of Southaven are disgraced by the scum of the earth that don't even know the meaning of serve and protect. Can't wait to get out of this hellish city.
