Joe Yochem, owner and broker in charge at SouthEnd Properties, first became interested in real estate in 1970, when he became active in commercial investment and development. Over the following decades, he continued to invest in commercial property in and around Charlotte.
In 2004, he earned his real estate license and went to work for Merit Properties. Over the next six years, he developed a deeper passion for real estate as well as a loyal clientele, and decided to open his own business. After an amicable split with Merit, Yochem went on to open SouthEnd Properties in Charlotte's eclectic South End neighborhood.
Opened in 2010, SouthEnd Properties specializes in commercial real estate investment and development within Charlotte and its surrounding areas.
