It was so good!! They gave us a sample platter of the meat they have, and the staff was super nice. Also our waiter was cute. The hush puppies were also so good. My favourite was the pork in the brine-y sauce. You should go here dude

The best barbecue place in town. I've brought several people here and no one leaves unsatisfied. I love the ribs and you get a ton for what you pay for. Full plate is too much for me to eat in one sitting. Great beer selection to for the craft beer lover.

We came here based on the excellent reviews, and we definitely weren't disappointed! We had our 3 kids with us, and while it may not be specifically a family restaurant, they were very accommodating in finding a comfortable spot for us outside. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful in deciding among the many excellent meat and beer choices - the free meat samples helped too! My wife and I shared the 3 meat plate, which was a great choice - perfect amount to share. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We would definitely come back again if we're in the area!

The food and atmosphere was so good at this place. I know good soul food and this place does it right. I ordered the oxtails with Mac and Cheese and collard greens. I also ordered an extra side of yams. The oxtails were the most tender ones I've ever tasted in my life. No exaggeration! Fell off the bone. I don't know how they do it. Delicious too. I'm trying the beef short ribs next time. Oh yeah, I'm visiting CA and there will definitely be another visit before I leave. Mmm!

Been here about 5 or more times for dinner, breakfast and brunch. I've loved everything on the menu. They give you big portions and the taste is always phenomenal! I come back for several reasons: The beer selection, the food, the nice servers, and the hot sauce! They have a rack of house bbq and hot sauces. But if you are into hot sauce, ask for Area 51 or Area 52 (hot/hottest).
