This place is beautiful. In a day and age where malls are fading away this place stands in defiance. New floors, new paint, new stores, new fixtures. This mall continues to elevate itself and attract new stores that are trendy and relevant. It's not the biggest by any means but it has everything you could want in a mall and then some. Best thing, you won't be there for hours and hours. But you will kill sometime and admire this place for what it is, a beautiful well designed mall from a near bygone era.

Amazing shopping center. Have been going here since I was a little kid. Sad to see some stores and play areas come and go. But I can still stop here to get anything from a new outfit to let minutes shopping items. Or even to get out the house for a stroll. It's even better now that there is a Culver's in the area. From electronics and jewelry to custom apparel and DINKY DONUTS! Great hang out place for young adults but also a nice place to go and relax and enjoy some time away from home. Olga's kitchen is also a notable spot with home cooked meals.

This mall has been in business for a very long time and has a good variety of stores.  They seem to continually update/remodel various areas of the mall, keeping it fresh and with a modern appeal.  There has also been the recent addition of a Cinemark movie theater, which is phenomenal!  The major downside to the mall, in general, is that the pricing seems to be significantly higher than the nearest standalone store of any chain inside of the mall.  Not too many "guy" stores here, outside of clothing retailers.

I love Southland shopping center It's a great place to shop. It has a movie theater right next door.😊 Love it! And my favorite store there is Forever 21 which always have the best deals on fashionable clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories. This shopping center is also located right across the street from Meijer food store and Burlington Coat Factory. Also if you looking for a great place to eat Penn Station is right across the parking lot from Kohl's. This is one of the best place to get a Philly cheese sub, fresh potato french fries and fresh squeezed lemonade.😋 I love the shopping center it has a little bit of everything for everyone. Also, Target is located in the back of the mall.👍😊 And if you're just a little bit hungry and want to Awesome BBQ lunch or dinner. check out Famous Dave it's just a hop and a skip away. Omg I love this place.❤ 😋❤Southland shopping center is a great place to shop, eat, save, money and enjoy quality time with family and friends.

Used to be nice years back, late 90's - early 2000's. I now almost avoid it at all cost and will rather drive 2-3x out of my way to go to a better, safer places.
