Would have given two stars had it not been for the negative environment brought on by the class I was a part of overlooking the bullying that occurs unless it happens to them. Then they gang up on you as typical hypocrites would. Then there is the fact the southwestern side of the school is slowly collapsing. Most evident in the Graphic Arts room where the trusses are deforming. Then there is the xenophobia of the locals. The school also doesn't have a driving program anymore, meaning you have to monopolize your parents' time to learn to drive instead of having it as a class. The few good things though would be that the school is kept fairly clean. Just looking at it passively, it looks pretty good compared to how it looked before the renovation years ago. Plenty of classrooms on 3 floors to accommodate the students. Decent food (in my opinion anyway). Many spaces for students to park their cars, which is great if you have to work right after school and need to get home faster than the lumbering bus can take you. School also has a decent computer network running on Novell software that allows for us to have dedicated hard disk storage in one of the few servers in that school. Network was good enough you could actually play Halo on it. In closing, if you want your children growing up in an environment that isn't toxic and backwards socially, avoid this school/area-in-general. If you are transferring someone/yourself into this high school, you may be alright, just don't stay for too long.

Southmorland high school is AWSOME!! ★★★★★ my sister jordan sherwood went to southmorland and do dose my sister makanizie sherwood ( find makanizie by the office ) LOL
