I've been here a couple times, as I am in the neighborhood a decent amount. Taco Tuesday is where it's at: spicy and tasty tacos, at a $1 or $2 each is solid by any means, and they have some good ones. Had a dish they no longer seem to have, spicy bacon strips basically, which were expensive and only small pieces of bacon on a skewer. Dang. Chips and salsa were decent, as the chips were flour and corn home-made and flash fried. Pretty unique and tasty, but the salsas were spicy just for spice and not that flavorful. Fried shots were WEIRD and actually pretty decent. Beer list is pretty long, but they have some higher-than-normal prices on some, most by a $1, but some by up to $2.50. Not paying $6 for a beer I can get $4 a bunch of other places. Each their own though. Staff is nice and polite, but a bit aloof. Last time I was in, they were holding my card and when I went to close out, they brought back the wrong card and tab, even though there were only 3 other people total in the place. Took them 10 minutes to figure out how to correctly get the issue taken care of. Void previous transaction, enter correct transaction, end. I'll be back for Taco Tuesday.

Excellent liquor selections and attentive staff. The owner was present at the time and was very welcoming and humble.

Normally there seems to be one good bartender and one not so good. By good I mean helpful and curtious. Often it seems the prices change with the staff from decent to over priced. I suggest paying with a card and getting a copy of your Bill. Recently a watched one person pay by card get 3 tacos and a call liquor, jack, for $9. The second person paying cash got a call their first was $7, deep eddy, their second beverage was $10, titos. As a bar manager for 12 years I am sorry but I would have refused that drink/price. I decided it was time to leave. I do not trust this ...Thank you to all of you honest service industry workers.

Great bar, staff focused on bar more than tables but I was reading so it didn't bother me.
