Loved the shuffle board, the the dive bar vibes... so much so we came back a second night.... Couldn't have made a bigger mistake.... Came in contact with a Mob mentality with no true sense of justice. Hypocrites of the welcoming, loving, friendly, and peaceful persona they and their city/state try to say they portray. Poor management, and poor conflict resolution. Going out of their(staff, hired acts, and customers) way to completely humiliate strangers, who were experiencing their first full day of Denver... and made to feel like total outcast. With absolutely no valid reason. We will not be returning... and will do our best to ensure we prevent as many people as possible from darkening this establishments doorway.

Total dive! In the best way....I love this place. Patrons are regulars and there's a good mix of temp laborers, hipsters, and some business types from time to time. Always good tap list (8-10 beers) and quick service with a great happy hour and a patio. Shuffleboard too. Edit - bump from 4 => 5 because updated and fresher tap list, and because why not?

As a local resident who appreciates a nice dive bar with a friendly atmosphere, I can say that the Squire Lounge is an ideal place to experience that local flair, BUT only if the guy with the stupid face tattoo is not attending the door... Why would an establishment deserve 1 star because of 1 pathetic man? Well that's because, on more than one occasion, this baffoon denied my friends entrance purely out of arrogance and ego. Or maybe the bouncer with the stupid face tattoo is just a complete moron and cannot critically think. Or maybe both. My friends were not drunk or out of control nor were they under aged. We're all working professionals in our late 20's enjoying the night out which somehow translated into being drunk... Being drunk and/or not having valid age verification were reasons why we couldn't enter the bar even though we hang out at the Squire ALL THE TIME. The most recent incident with this reject of a human was when my friend who just turned 30 was denied entrance because his ID was expiring at midnight. It was 11PM, his ID was still valid, and he just turned 30 but these facts did not seem to bear any significance in this man's void head. He claimed that this new administration is "cracking down" and could lose his job... It didn't matter that he's 30 with a valid ID because the chances of the bouncer getting in trouble for not breaking any rules/laws were too high. Even though the Squire identifies as a grungy dive bar, it does not need to hire grungy, face tattooed, imbeciles, to maintain that identity... Hence why the establishment deserves one star.

Good drinks at good prices. Kind of loud. Nice patio area

Great atmosphere and location. Loved the free water cooler. 4 stars because there was no rain cover for outside smoking area.
