Friends of Southside Library was established in 2000. We work to make Southside better by sponsoring programs, buying books, and more. Join us today!
Friends of Southside Library work together to help make Southside Library better! Throughout the year, we raise funds through the Annual Book Sale, membership dues and donations. These funds sponsor special programs, such as the summer reading programs for kids, teens & adults, holiday programming and Card-Making classes; provide toys for the children's area; refreshments for programs; and books & other supplies as requested by the Southside Library Staff. Volunteers also spend their time helping out around the library and providing additional support.
A 501-C 3 non-profit organization of volunteers who promote library programs, resources, and services that enhance the community.
Annual Book Sale, Fall & Year Round Book Sale
*We accept donations of gently used books for our year-round and annual book sales. Your tax-deductible donation of books are used both for the library collection and for the book sales. Net profits from the book sales are used to purchase books, DVDs, equipment; support programming; and support the Southside Library as needed.
