The vets are nice never had a problem with them but one of the receptionists (she's a bigger lady) is just plain rude. She is not friendly at all and she is the reason I found a new vet. I'm not sure if she's still there but if she isn't I would definitely come back. Everyone else is sweet. She is also the one who made me pay for an exam I didn't want. I was getting my puppy shots and I didn't know it was standard to pay for an exam fee. Nobody informed me of this before I went in. She just asked me if I was there for shots, I said yes and expected to only pay for the shots. I was bringing my dog back every few weeks so I didn't know I had to pay the exam fee every time. She has made my experience very unpleasant more than once which is a shame because I liked this vet office.

We have been taking our animals for over 20years for well care and emergency care and have been very happy with the service. The entire team are very caring and always very nice to us. I would recommend this animal clinic to anyone  who wants excellent care.

My dog, Jack, had a run-in with a coyote and we came to Spanaway Vet Clinic for emergency care.  The staff were efficient and caring, and the vet (I don't remember her name, but she was awesome) explained our options and the difficulties we faced if we chose to pursue surgery on our badly injured boy.  She was honest and forthright, and still managed to show compassion for what we were going through.  We chose to end Jack's pain, and afterward they sent me a condolence card.  I am now considering making Spanaway Vet Clinic my regular vet.

Had my 20 year old cat put down here. I was crying the entire time. The Dr and staff were very compassionate and sympathetic. They made me feel at ease  and I greatly appreciate it. I decided to be with my kitty until the end. The effects of the injection took literally 3 seconds to send him to cat heaven. Love you MissyMonkk, RIP :(

Been using them since 1991. Been six years since we lost our Golden and came back after adopting a rescue dog. They are still professional and friendly and genuinely  concerned about the fur babies and their humans.
