Story

Sparrow's Tree is a growing resource center for families in southern Indiana. It is run by a mom and dad who know their products inside and out because they use them with their own children. Danielle is available during the week for free cloth diapering consultations (text to make an appointment or just show up during store hours!) and she hosts classes and workshops every week on different topics relevant to parents and little ones. Sparrow's Tree's goal is to not just sell you a product, but to help you, educate you and be there for you every step of the way on your journey as a parent striving to live a healthier, more natural life. I am writing a honest review. Spare yourself, don't buy anything from the online store or you're life will be miserable no telling how long trying to get it. It took me one month. It seems like their physical store is okay from reviews. There are other bad reports on this business, even some on the BBB. I ordered from them because I wanted to support a small business, bad decision. I have never had such a miserable, blood pressure rising, frustrating experience with a company like this. I even had a nightmare dealing with the situation. Their site says items are delivered in 4-7 days. On the 7th day I had not gotten any shipment notice and I hadn't received it either. I called the online store's number and got a voicemail, which I left a voicemail. I also emailed. I never received any response at all. I then found their store on Facebook... and sent them a message. I did get a message back that day saying they'd check on the order. I was told 'they got a shipment that was damaged', which didn't tell me why my order hadn't shipped. My order was then shipped the next day. Coincidence? When I opened the order, the soap didn't have the soap pump with it, which made it useless. I found out later they knew this but sent it anyway! I contacted them for days on end, email, phone call, Facebook message, Facebook post, with no avail. In that time, I was so angry and didn't want to fool with the company anymore, I said I just wanted a refund and to be done with all of it. I finally got a response that they would not give a refund unless I sent the merchandise back, which was going to cost me shipping. There was no way I'd do that, since who knew when in the world I'd get a refund, if ever. So then I said just send the pump. No response. 5 days later, they sent the shipment confirmation I asked for and the package 'sat at the post office' for several days. It wasn't until I contacted them AGAIN and after another wrath of trying to getting ahold of them, that the package was scanned at the post office, where it took another several days to arrive. Coincidence? I found out that they were dishonest about every issue wrong with the order. Never an apology for not being able to get ahold of them. They blamed the post office, the company who makes the items and even me. It took a month to finally get the order completed, but at least I got it. Many others have reported the same issues; that they haven't gotten their items, they can't get ahold of anyone, and they've blamed others for the issues at hand.
