I wish I could rate this higher, but there were so many things that were just not up to par. The lettuce in the salads were old, sat in the fridge too long (one person at the table had the core of the lettuce head in her salad). The mango dressing on mine was off, but the waitress didn't return for me to ask for a different one. The pasta dishes all had pasta water on the bottom of the plates (something that could be avoided if they tossed the pasta with the sauces instead of ladling them over the top). The list could go on and on, but basically the dishes were poorly executed, and didn't seem to use good quality ingredients. It could use an upgrade in the physical space as well. Looks very dated.

Really great atmosphere. I have lived here many years but just checked it out for the first time. Food was great as was the service. Great place to grab a drink too. I will be back many a' time!

Good service and unique atmosphere. Food was decent. I had the sliced sirloin and the steak was cooked perfectly, but the au ju was as flavorful as water. I would try it again with another dish.

First off, the name drew me in. The decor and atmosphere definitely held true to the speakeasy name. Though I would loved to have heard live music on a Friday night, the music selection was tasteful and corresponded perfectly with the theme. Our server, Mahlon, was polite, poised and professional. Also during our visit the new manager, Larry, stopped by our table to introduce himself and asked how we were enjoying our experience. I find this personable interaction not only incredibly professional but also a rare yet considerate gesture. Our food was out to us in a timely manner and it was delicious. We will definitely be back for another visit when we are back in town.
