May 05; We back tracked 12 minutes off of RT. 66 to eat here. Our Children wanted fries and this place had a high rating and now we know why; They serve hand cut fries which are great, the burger (Cavern Burger minus mayo) was delicious, and the chicken tenders were WHOLE tenderloins. The burger indeed was juicy that I left with a stain on my jeans and the buns were toasted which was a nice surprise. I can always appreciate a restaurant that serves whole tenderloins versus meat mashed together in shapes. But the down side to the chicken tenders was my dipping sauce option, the barbeque sauce was some generic sauce from US Foods ... A quality tenderloin being dipped in a cheap sauce, not my preference but it "worked". Also it was 12 pm and when we walked in only two booths were available, so very busy and people kept coming in and out. The restroom situation was not ideal, two stalls and one small sink in the women's restroom. My husband had to wait in a line to use the restroom, so that was annoying because the restroom is next to the entrance and the foot traffic was HIGH in the restaurant. This place needs to be expanded because it was butts to nuts and elbows in ribs and ... A cluster jam. BUT excellent food!

The food here is amazing! Just imagine if the food you got at McDonald's or Burger King wasn't swept up off the floor before they served it. Juicy tomatoes! Real lettuce! Burger patties thicker than an envelope! French fries that came from actual potatoes! Also, I normally prefer ice cream to Frozen Custard, but the shakes here are just awesome. I would consider this table service quality food at quick serve prices. Definitely go out of your way to eat here.

My sister is a regular ave highly recommended this place. Ate here for 1st time and was impressed. Inside was busy but we found a table food, and just a short wait and food was brought out. Hamburgers were great,juicy & thick, wonderful bun and fresh toppings. Nice fries. Was too full to get dessert but I'll go back soon. This is a gem of a place to find in a small town.

The food here is always excellent. The hamburgers give Five Guys a very close run but the buns here are better. The fries are always fresh and excellent. I have also had the fish and chips and they are also top notch. To top it off the made in house frozen custard is worth the trip. The service is excellent and we have taken friends here and they were impressed. I have never been disappointed eating here.

This is one of the greatest burgers I've had, and it cost less than $5!!!! The staff is nice. The food is great! And they have a new flavor of ice cream every day. You can't beat it. A must-visit if you are in the area.
