The restaurant was okay. I do think it’s better as a bar. The service was terrible. Food was very well prepared, but it just took forever to get to my table. It was a pretty dead night when I walked in and it still took forever to get my food. Appetizers aren’t worth the money and the the entrees were over priced. I felt like the waitress was catering and put priority to everyone else but my table. Would I order takeout from this place, yes; but I would not sit in and eat ever again. Overall if you’re looking to kill some time and have a guest with you to talk to, then yes go, but there are other Jamaican restaurants with better service.

Food is great! Typical Jamaican cuisine. At any given point of the day (in restaurant and/or carryout) however they may be out of something. Go with a flexible pallet. Carryout service ... only so so. Then again your in and out for the comfort food. Our waitress experience inside restaurant and bar has been excellent!

Delicious peas & rice, cabbage was tasty. They didn't have any vegetarian food due to the anticipated snow storm, but the above items and the vegetable pattie were good. Plantains where cooked a little more than how I'd like them. Overall a really good experience. Very friendly staff..

The food was horrible. My friend and I waited an hour for our appetizers. And when they brought them out, they only brought one order. Then we waited another 20 min for the other appetizer. And on top of that, another 45 min for our food. We ordered the salmon. It tasted as tho it sat for at least 30 min before they brought it out. And oddly enough, it was late in the afternoon on a Saturday and we were the only 2 patrons there!! The only good part were the drinks. The bartender really knew what she was doing.

I always look forward to coming to Long Island to see my family because I also get GOOD Caribbean food, like Brooklyn-good!And this place did not disappoint. Delicious curry goat, AND they packed the plate so full of food, I had enough for 2 meals!
