I had a flawless experience with Karn and NY Sports & Spinal. I came in with chronic back pain and severe pain in my knee when exercising, and after about two months of weekly therapy, am doing so much better. The strength training was highly effective, the massages were amazing, and the conversation with Karn was fantastic as well. Excellent experience all around!

Karn and the team @ NY Sports & Spinal are amazing. After several unsuccessful visits elsewhere local to the 72nd street location, Karn was able to identify and remediate years of abuse self inflicted to both, nagging shoulder and lower back issues I have been experiencing. Over the course of treatment and following some habit changes movement and exercise I am now no longer in discomfort. Karn's knowledge of physiology and practical approach to treatment along with a great demeanor and team were absolutely key to my rehabilitation. Also to mention the convenient location and office hours.
I had an epidural in my spine due to pain from bulging discs. The pain was masked, but unfortunately it came back once the shot wore off. I needed to work with a therapist to could help alleviate the pain and also help keep it from coming back. Being an athlete, I have seen my share of physical therapists. Unfortunately much of that has been a waste of time. Often the therapist would be working with me and several other people at the same time. This is not the case with NYSSPT. The manual work that has been done on my spine as well as exercises given have been extremely helpful. Also, the knowledge as to what exactly I should be avoiding has been very helpful. I highly recommend this physical therapy business. The undivided attention that I am receiving has put me on the path to recovery.
NY Sports and Spinal Physical Therapy is amazing. The therapist worked on my thigh and followed up to see how I was feeling. The space is clean and sunny. I highly recommend.
