Lily pads. Big bass. Swans. Just being on the water. Top water frog was a blast! Huge blow ups! What's not to love. Boat ramp is a little steep. Other than that it was an awesome day!

I've gone to this lake to fish for over 50 years and still get excited every time. Although Illinois should be ashamed of the lack of better facilities at one time there was a very nice fish cleaning station on the causeway that has been removed. Don't expect much management but still a great place to relax.

Great place for an afternoon drive. As a shoreline fishermen you will only be disappointed on account of all the lilly pads. If you can find a clearing you have good chances of catching some nice fish.
