He is very helpful and explains everything to you. He gave me a list of options  for repair and pointed out the most important one's and what repairs could wait.

Asked for a pre-smog check as I knew it would fail and wanted to get an idea of what I would have to replace. Instead he did a full check and charged close to $90 and reported the truck to the state as a gross polluter. He then told me it would be another $150 to diagnose the problem and give me a repair estimate which "might exceed the value of the truck". I took the truck home and fixed the loose spark plug wire, which turned out to be the problem.  I took the truck to Lube N GO in Templeton they tested the truck which passed,  but could not certify it, since it was labeled as a gross polluter, he suggested I call the state hotline they informed me that it had to be retested at a STAR certified station the only on in town, you guessed it. Spring Street Auto. I asked for an alternative and they referred me the Paso Robles Ford  several miles east of town.  I called Paso Robles Ford and they were able to slip me into their busy schedule , check and certified the truck while I waited in their spacious waiting room everyone was very friendly and courteous.

This guy seemed nice but just wanted my money I took my truck to get smogged knowing that it wasn't ready to get smogged bc I reset the check engine light after fixing the problem ur supposed to drive it for a while. So instead of telling me it wasn't ready like another smog shop told me he did it anyways and still charged me for nothing don't go here rip off

Terrible experience. This guy just wants your money. He feels you out for as long as he can and then tries to work you over. I tried leaving and he tried forcibly holding the hood up as I was closing it. Absolutely horrible.

Been coming here on and off for many years, I know if my kids break down in town I send them to spring St. Auto,because he and his wife are honest and very hard working.
Thank you for being a pillar in our community.
He taught my boy how to air up his tires and check his oil.
He is a great technician and man.
