My Mom has been at Springfield for 2 years. She is happy here and so am I. Mom has many activities to keep her occupied and has made new friends. The staff and administrators are top rate. I have complete confidence in Springfield. I also volunteer in the gift shop It gives the residents a place to buy everyday items.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE ONLY WANT THE MONEY . No AND THEY FEED THE RESIDENTS ANYTHING PLUS THEY HAD BED BUG INFESTATIONS IM NOT SURE IF THEY GOT RID IF THEM . IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY DONT PUT THEM THERE

My Mom never, NEVER complains about anything, even if she was in pain. Diane, the Administrator and Brian the resident relations, both LIED!!!, about everything, the service, the nursing staff, the food, the condition of the room/building. My Mom has had three issues with mice, the second floor has bed bugs, and the heating system is not working, and according to the other patients, the building has not had working AC since August, and the owners knew that there would be a problem with the Heat. They didn't want to spead the money, but the administrator is at your door, looking for money the day the rent is due. Hmmmm The nurses never show up for work, Springfield Residences on many nights, like 10pm until the morning only have one nurses on staff, by the way I use the nurses on very loose terms...The nurses as they are called in this Assisted Living, have high school education but no nursing degree, they are aids, with only a CPR as knowledge. The food....SUCKS!! Ham and chesse sandwiches for lunch, hotdogs and hamburgers for lunch....UGH!!! The Rooms, not apartments ...the carpets are dark, the walls are dark eggshell, the toilets are always backing up, the windows don't open up at all. The hallways are dark, little light, the janitors have been stealing, yes STEALING the Light Bulbs, the LIGHT BULBS!! It looks nice on the outside , front and the gardens, but the inside....SUCKS!!! The employees blame the management, the management keeps saying "I'm sorry", but it has not improved since my Mom has been there over 3 months. RUN, RUN AWAY........FAST!!!
