My girlfriend and I was walking around the mall until we saw this new place. We never seen it before and my girlfriend loves her milk tea so she wanted to try it. She asked if they had almond milk as a substitute but they said no. They said their creamer is made from a non diary product so my girlfriend was okay with that to try. There 3 options for sizes regular, large or those jars with the lights that looked cool. My girlfriend decided to go with the large cup. When it was time to pay their scanner machine wasn't working properly because we tried 2 different card. So luckily I had cash on me but due to the coin shortages they didn't have enough to give me back which I was okay with. It didn't take long for my girlfriend drink to be made. They had a nice seal on it to cover the drinking area when you're not drinking from it. My girlfriend though the Milk Tea was okay but it wasn't her favorite.
One person a Sunday when the mall is full in Northridge. She walk besides you and don’t even notice that you are there. For sure we left because the place was unattended.
When I first arrived I waited about 5 minutes and never was acknowledged. When I was about to give up he looked at me looked back and rolled his eyes. I left but decided to come back later. This time I was served, the drink came fast but tasted like coffee and medicine. The boba was sweet so that was good but over all there terrible customer service and I would not go back again.
First of all this is the second I’ve passed by them. The first day i passed them no one was working so I assumed it was closed. After looking around the mall I was headed home and they were there serving people. Today I wanted to see if I. Could get some and they were no where to be seen. At least they could leave a sign they are out or something. There are two workers and after at least half an hour they both got there and took my order. Ps. As of today they don’t sell the drinks in bulbs.
Drink tastes like water, the kid working there is rude. The cups are the only thing that are decent, 4$ extra for the bulb cup.
A couple friends and I went to this place when it first opened up. Obviously its a place to go for trendy types of drinks and sweets. Beyond the novelty of the glass light bulb cups and fruity pebble ice cream sandwiches the drinks are indeed very good. I got their 50/50 special and also tried my friend's Viatnamese coffee with boba of course and they were both delicious. Also if you have got two drinks on your mind you can't choose between, no problem! They have cups that are split in half so you can get two different drinks in one cup!
I ordered a green tea latte in a lightbulb. The drink had more ice than what I actually ordered. I wouldn’t recommend getting the green tea latte for the taste. I would rather recommend else where but I think the lightbulb is a creative way to attract customers.
This place was pretty good when it opened up. Recently went a couple of days ago and got the 50/50 and it wasn't anything comparable to what it was before. It was a water down nasty drink. I will not ever come back here and I wouldn't recommend. They are low on ingredients and will use supplements, such as water instead of milk to make the drinks. Disgusting and a huge disappointment.
Their 50/50 original is so good. And they come in unique glass bulbs or containers which you can use again.
I bought the banana matcha frappe and it taste like medicine. I dumped it.
