Joy Group ( Just Older Youth - Marilyn Dunn, Leader Support group for women age 60 and above)
Mission Stitchers (Phyllis Cagney, Leader
Meets every Friday afternoon in the Sewing room at the church. Provides support for members. Sews items to sell to benefit missions. Makes items to donate to members, non-members and missions. Check out the beautiful work displayed by the Mission Stitchers. New photos of their artistic sewing ability will be uploaded as they are completed.)
Renewal Group ( Nanette Cagney, Leader
Prayer Group. Prayer group is meeting on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. in the Session Room)
Choir (Bob Emanuel, Leader
Meets 6:30 pm each Wednesday at the church. Grow together in the Spirit through song.)
Church Ladies (Amy Dunn, Leader
Monthly dinner group for ladies in their 40’s and 50’s. Meets the 1st Thursday of each month in individual homes)
Fabulous Friday ( Pat Barron, Leader
Group for women of the church. Meets the 2nd Friday of each month, includes a meal and Bible Study. Duration of this study is 9 months)
Opera Lovers (Mary Lou Burke, Leader Description in progress)A small group interested in hearing, viewing and learning more about opera. The group gathers from September through April twice a month on Saturdays. We meet at the Cinemark Theatre (behind the mall) at 11:30 a.m. to attend performances of live broadcasts from the Metropolitan Opera Co in New York. Following the broadcasts, the group goes to dinner to discuss the performances. Everyone is welcome.
PCF (Nanette Cagney, Leader The Presbyterian Campus Fellowship Ministers to the McNeese Campus but is also a place for the 20'something age group from any background. They meet on Monday nights at 6:30 in the fellowship hall to share in a Fellowship meal and bible study afterward)
Presbyterian Kid's Club
Sunday School classes are held each Sunday immediately following the “Children’s Sermon.” The curriculum included understanding stories of the Old and New Testament and how they relate to our everyday lives.
Nursery-Child care is provided infants to two year olds.
Presbyterian Kid’s Club – Current lessons and activities center on the Twelve Disciples who followed Jesus. Each class consists of a Bible lesson, a related craft activity and/or music.
If your children are in the sanctuary during worship Please do not worry if your child makes noise or is active. We love the sounds of life and are thrilled to have your young children worship with us.
