Customer communication is none..my work was simple and they did it properly...but I had to call to see if it was done and it was but they said I needed another part...never called when working on it to ask if I want it done...I showed with the part I needed in hand and they put it in..took 15 minutes...I am big on communication with a customer and they failed..but on a positive note the work I had done was affordable... note I did bring my own parts...

This place was phenomenal. I got an oil change from Tire Kingdom and they improperly secured my belly pan which caused it to flap and drag on the ground when I drove it. I was panicked because I needed to drive to DC the next day. At St. Lucie Battery and Tire, I walked in on a very busy day without an appointment and they were able to see me within 20 minutes. They fixed my problem in five minutes and didn't charge me. I am so relieved to be able to drive home and to have received the kind of service I did from this place!!

I ordered four new tires and was supposed to receive a call that they were in.  Never came.  Called at 4:55 PM the day they were to arrive and was told, "Oh yeah, there in, David was supposed to call you."  

"When can I have an appointment to install?"  
        "Anytime tomorrow, we have nothing on the books"

I showed up at 8:45 and at least 5 bays were already full.  Started out with a less than cordial greeting.  Then I was asked "are you leaving the vehicle with me?"  "No, I was told by Virginia to bring it in anytime since there was nothing on the books."

That set the tone for more grumpiness!  

When I asked the tech to see the tires, "I haven't pulled them down yet."  I sat where I could easily be seen and they started the install without showing me the tires.  I went to look at them and was told, "You have to be outside!"  

Okay, I get that (insurance regulations) but why not show me the damn tires.  The tire exchange from old to new began and then came to a halt for some reason.  45 minutes later the job resumed. Virginia came to tell me I needed front brake pads.  I would have let them do the brakes but not when I am treated like a customer they didn't need!  After the job was done, I paid my bill and the tech said, "Sorry for the wait" as he walked away.  Needless to say, I WILL NOT GO BACK TO  "St Lucie NOT SO HAPPY Battery and Tire.

After having a few very helpful phone conversations with David, I brought in our 35ft Winnebago for a new set of tires. We had a 6 year old set of Sailuns on there. Let me just say "no more chinese tires for us!" We went from bumping and bouncing down the road on our egg shaped tires to a super smooth ride.

The Uniroyal RS20s that David recommended we not only the most affordable brand name tire they had, but actually the ones David suggested we go with. When was the last time a service place didn't tell you more $$ is better? Even when I questioned about a more expensive tire, it came back to the Uniroyals as being the one to buy. 

Needless to say, I learned a lot thru the tire buying process (yes it is a process when they are this expensive and you have to buy 6 of them!) 

David offered the best price out of the many shops that I called, plus they had the equipment to do an alignment on it at the same time.

Don't hesitate to take your vehicle to this location. A++++ Service and A+++++ Customer Care.
