My boyfriend was admitted for a blood clot. This was very scarey for me to see what he was going through with the pain and vomiting. We were on the fifth floor. The nurses up their were absolutely amazing people. So kind and caring to him and even to me. They always checked in on him. We had two nurse that we will never forget because they went above and beyond. I wish more hospitals had nurses like them. They care about their patients and seem to love what they do. They took the time to answer any questions we had as well. Thank you so much to Debra and Beckie you were amazing. We will never forget the two of you. Thank you to the amazing doctors he had too. Dr. Baldwin is awesome!

Worst hospital on earth. But hopefully after multiple lengthy lawsuits, in a few years all this suffering and trauma this hospital has caused my family will be worth it🖕🏽 STAY AWAY! 9/10 you will end up sicker then when you went in. And give you the wrong medication that totally destroys your organs and then just tell you "oops, My bad" not only are they unprofessional, they are outright DANGEROUS. This hospital I'm sure is responsible for completely preventable deaths on the daily. Most of which just from the unsanitary conditions alone. My grandfather is all I've got. He went in for diuretics for fluid build up in his legs....He now has pneumonia and severe diarrhea from being given the wrong medication. Worst part is, I KNEW this would happen if he was admitted into this dump. And I was right. I honestly can't understand how this craphole hasn't been shut down or at least investigated

If you poor and black do not go there. The receptionist are rude, and racist. Hospitals are supposed to help people in need, not to be prejudice towards a certain group of people. I had the worst experience at this hospital with one of the receptionist to this day every time I think about it angers me. She was rude and unprofessional. A person like that shouldn’t be working in hospital.

Not sure why there is so many bad reviews. This hospital is amazing, staff has always been friendly and helpful. Yes the ER can take time depending on what is wrong with you. But I can't thank enough for St Lukes over the years. Actually saved my life when they detected my ruptured appendix.

Our emergency visit to St. Lukes was the worst experience of our lives. Our daughter was brought in with complications caused by undiagnosed type1 diabetes. The radiologist came to do x-rays and I asked her to please put a protective guard over my daughters thyroid because thyroid problems run in our family. She refused to put the protective guard and had a hostile attitude. Our daughter was transferred to another hospital where she could be treated by specialists and learn how to adjust to living with diabetes. As if this was not traumatic enough, a DCYF agent shows up because someone from St. Lukes reported us for child neglect! In the middle of a difficult trial we then had to endure a DCYF investigation. Of course all allegations were unfounded and the case was immediately closed but no family should have to endure heartbreak and trauma while trying to seek medical help. I have lost all trust and my best advice is to stay as far away from this place as you can. Full of hostile, ignorant, unprofessional mandated reporters that cannot recognize genuine illness from abuse! Have an emergency? Save your sanity, health, and family and drive to the next nearest emergency room.
