Since they remodeled, they shrunk the size of the store, and now it seems like they have less products than before. I went in (05/02/2016) looking for some items I saw in the weekly ad online (a 6TB external HDD and a USB flash drive). When I get to the store, they had none of those items in stock with the 'order this item online' tag where the product would be. I walked out without buying anything. Again I went in (02/23/2017) and saw 480GB SSD empty display box on the shelf, turns out they don't stock SSDs in store... period. Again, I walked out without buying anything (as usual). Associate asked if I wanted to order online, which I replied 'I will, at Amazon.' If I have to order online, I may as well save myself a few more dollars and get it from Amazon or Newegg. I'm done with Staples. Shop local my ass! Amazon for life!

On 2/6/2015 I went into the recently remodeled Staples looking for office supplies. While I was checking out, the cashier told me that the Avery Dividers I was purchasing had a $5 Rebate. Cool, I thought since I had just spent $225.03...every little bit helps. She told me I could apply for the rebate online. The next day I went online to submit my rebate. Within a week or so, I received a postcard from Staples Resubmissions stating that "Unfortunately, we could not honor your request due to the following reason(s): Your submission is invalid because your purchase was made in a store that is not participating in this promotion" OK, I was a little puzzled, why would this Staple tell me about the rebate but not participate in the promotion? Surely,it can't be to bring you in, tell you about the rebate and KNOWINGLY know that their store is not participating in the rebate program. Still thing...it's just $5...right? Today, I went back to the store to buy, yes buy and decided to ask to speak to a store manager. CJ, as his name tag state was the store manager...I showed him all my paperwork...he reviewed it (I guess) and told me that I would need to call the Rebate HQ to find out why it wasn't honored because he had never seen anything like this. REALLY? I NEED TO CALL? OK...still thinking $5...but it's the principle, right? I call the Rebate HQ and, yep,..no surprise...I get caught up in the loop...press this...press that...FINALLY...some automated voice said to enter the account phone number so that I can speak to a representative. I'm annoyed, frustrated...but it's still the principle, right...$5. Finally, Cathy comes on the line... We'll Cathy ask my phone number, YES AGAIN! Then she wants to verify the account address...I REALLY ANNOYED NOW! I tell her that all the information on the account is correct. She tells me she cannot access the account if I don't verify the address. NOT TRUE CATHY because the automated rep found the info on just the telephone number. OK at this point Cathy, who I told it understand she just works of Staples, puts me on hold. I guess this is the new "cool down" period. Anyway, when she finally returned. She started explaining WHY...REALLY? I don't care WHY. That's Staples problem! She did tell ME, the CUSTOMER, that the Store Mabage would need to contact the Corporate office to explain why they're not honoring the rebates. Moral of the story...I did get the $5 Rebate but it probably cost $75...which I'm sure companies know which is way most of us don't bother with rebates...RIGHT?

Used to be a great place for your office needs! With the new management running it (especially the main guy CJ) this place is nothing more than a scamhole full of jerks. Try office depot!

I am away training and this afternoon my wife called me saying that she had a problem with an hp detachable laptop we bought for her before I left. We knew that it wasn't a virus or anything it was probably something that she wasn't doing right to power it on. Mr Hall the manager was kind enough to show her how to power cycle it and it fixed her issue. Thank you so much for helping out my family!
